Red Cardinal Wood Bowl - Bowl ONLY

This listing is for the bowl ONLY. The bowl itself holds approx. 8 oz. of wax, is 10.5" wide x 5" long x 1.5" deep & beautifully made for that cardinal lover!

These bowls will all be prepared as "candle ready," meaning they’ve undergone a visual inspection to identify potential leak-prone areas. However, because these are wooden bowls, some issues might not be visible or could be inadvertently overlooked. We recommend keeping a glue of your choice on hand. Upon delivery, perform a second inspection. If you spot an area we may have missed or encounter a leak while pouring, a small dab of glue should address the issue.

Once the bowls are finished, any visible knots or holes will be sealed by us. Please note that "candle ready" does not imply the application of a flame retardant. Due to liability reasons, we do not apply such treatments. If you prefer to use a flame retardant, we recommend applying it yourself to ensure it meets your preferences. Ideally, this should be done before staining or painting.

Keep in mind that working with wooden bowls differs from pouring into glass. Despite our best efforts, wooden bowls, including ours, can be unpredictable. Rest assured, we take great care in selecting the best bowls for candle-making purposes, but we cannot make guarantees about potential hazards or leaks. We encourage you to use caution and include a warning label on your candles. Suggestions for warnings include: “Never leave unattended,” “Do not burn past 1/4 inch of wax,” and other standard candle-burning precautions.

For those purchasing these bowls for resale, we recommend including burning warnings, safety precautions, and care instructions with each order. Proper wick trimming and placement are also essential for safe use.
